Dr. Joseph C. Wolfer...
...specializes in veterinary ophthalmology. He became Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists in 1994 and became a member of the American Society of Retina Specialists in 2004.

Dr. Wolfer has been in practice since 1992 and opened the Animal Eye Clinic in 2000. Dr. Wolfer is one of only a few veterinary ophthalmologists in North America who provide surgical care for patients with retinal detachment, and this has been the main focus of his research for the past five years.

An active member of the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association, Dr. Wolfer has authored numerous journal articles and textbook chapters. He is an adjunct professor of ophthalmology at the Ontario Veterinary College and enjoys participating in undergraduate student education.
